hear my cry, o god.

"Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.
From the ends of the earth I call to you,
I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For you have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the foe.
I long to dwell in your tent forever
and take refuge in the shelter of your wings."
- Psalm 61:1-4

I just love this picture. It shows SURRENDER.  This is what I feel like when life brings me to my knees. HERE I AM, LORD. I'M YOURS. LEAD ME where you want me to go! I'm LISTENING! SHOW me the way. I can't do this alone. I NEED you! Hold my hand and comfort me. I SURRENDER ALL.

I totally love those verses. I actually made up a song with them:) (I'm kinda' corny like that!) That picture looks amazing.

I used to say that if life brought me to my knees, then praise God, it brought me closer to Jesus! In the midst of the journey though, it's hard to praise and release those things into His arms. Sometimes I find myself running several times a day to the throne saying those same words. In the end, these times really do bring us closer to Him.

And...that's where He gets to step in and be God...because we're no longer trying to do it ourselves:)

Praying for you.

I love that picture! I love feeling the warmth and power of the sun shine down on me...I guess you can take it as God shining down on you. As long as you put yourself in the right place, you will feel Gods warmth and power!

You are so right, we can't do this alone. I'm so thankful that no matter what He will be with us. We can be making a complete mess of our lives, and He will be there. We can be the worst person in the world and he still loves us. We can feel far away from Him, but He is still here, holding your hand!
